Antique Log Cabin Barn Raising Quilt circa 1890. Extremely graphic quilt with wonderful colors and contrast. Would be great wall decor. Made of velvets and silk and hand tied. Excellent condition with only a couple worn pieces. The back shows discoloration of the silk but not the front. Has cotton batting which makes it a warmer quilt. Size is 77″ X 75″ . Stock #19613 SOLD

Red and green with pink calico on a white ground..expert hand quilting of floral, straight line and conforming quiting at 8-9 stitches to the inch…vine border across the bottom…Size is 96″ X 72″..Picture is using the 96″ length across the width of the bed with the 72″ starting below the pillows..original red binding shows wear, otherwise in excellent condition. Antique Floral Blocks quilt circa 1940. Unusual patchwork quilt with hand painted flowers in each block. The sashing and borders are blue with yellow connectors. Some of the blocks have the name of the artist on them. Hand quilted with cross hatch quilting at 7 stitches to the inch. Size is 77″ X 67″ with the 77 ” going across the queen bed. Price $245. Early antique Pyramids quilt circa 1870. Nice array of period fabrics including indigo, mourning prints, shirting , madders, burgundy and more. Such a pretty Floral Applique from the 1940s. A perfect shade of lemon yellow sashing with assorted color flowers on white blocks. Nicely done petit point borders all around.
