Bow Tie antique quilt circa 1900. Here is a real oldie but goodie. Patchwork Bow Ties in assorted early fabrics and colors. The back fabric is used on 2 opposing borders. A bit of whimsy by the quilt maker is the addition to the top border of a patch of orange centered in the middle of the pillows. This is a cozy, heavier and smaller quilt measuring 64″ X 76″. Nice for a twin bed or as a throw. Price $199. Stock #19554

Signed and Dated Friendship antique quilt. There are 56 signatures and I believe they were signed with each maker’s birthday.The dates embroidered range between 1939 and 1950 with most being in the 1940’s. The quilt appears to have been made in the 1960’s. Each frienship block is surrounded by a green and white Nine Patch block. Hand quilted with straight line and diamond quilting at 6 stitches to the inch. Size is 78″ x 88″. Price $299. Stock #19331

“Tumbling Block” vintage quilt circa 1960. A patriotic quilt in popular red, white and blue. It is a ‘quilt of illusion’ since you can see stars (4th close up) or blocks (third close up). Pretty prairie point edges frame the quilt along with triple borders. Size is 85″ X 74″ for a full/queen bed or use as a dramatic wall hanging. The batting is thin and the back is white. Excellent condition with light age tanning/spots along fold line, mostly on the back and no wear. Has some nice conversation prints. Size is 84″ X 72″.
