Cheerful Floral Medallion antique applique quilt, circa 1860. Red, green and pink on a white background. A central bloom is surrounded by eight buds and green swag borders with red bows. Magnificent, unique Floral Applique circa 1860. This incredible quilt has everything special about it…fanciful design placement of 2 center bouquets surrounded by 6 gathered flowers, buds and vases. Then sprigs of flowers surround that, and a meandering grapevine border frames it all. In addition the berries are stuffed! There is reverse applique including hearts. Intense-expert-exceptional hand quilting..1/4 ” rows and 1/2″ grids, and stipple quilting at 12 stitches to the inch. Green, red and yellow with oxidized green now teal. Ohio origin with provenance available to buyer. Hanging sleeve is attached to the back. Size is 93″ X 64″. Price $1965. Stock #19515

Absolutely gorgeous “Oak Leaf and Reel” antique applique quilt, circa 1880. Dark indigo blue print on white background. ‘Nine Patch’ corner blocks and triple sashing frame each Oak Leaf. I love the pillow treatment at the top of the quilt. Hand quilted with diagonal straight line quilting, close together, at 7 stitches to the inch. The Nine Patch blocks have tiny postage stamp size pieces. Justs washed, the quilt is crisp and clean. Full size 82″ X 70″ . Price $1485. Stock #19512

A very unusual Floral Applique antique quilt circa 1860. The pattern combines roses, tulips, feathers and vines to create a spectacular and possibly unique antique quilt. The meandering vine border on all sides frames the quilt. Expert quilting with 3/4″ diamonds touching throughout the entire quilt at 8 stitches to the inch. Queen size 87″ X 87″. Beautifully executed “Rose of Sharon” antique applique quilt, circa 1860. Red and green with yellow flower centers and a touch of pink. Expert quilting with one inch diamond grids throughout the quilt at 9 stitches to the inch. The meandering floral border of tulips and roses has triple straight line quilting. A nice queen size measuring 88″ X 88″, shown on a double bed. Excellent condition. Price $1650. Stock #19485.

Princess Feather variation antique applique quilt, circa 1870. Unusual configuration with a center medallion Princess Feather surrounded by Princess Feather ‘flowers’. There is a meandering vine border all around. A stunning example in red and green calico on a white background. Profressionally washed and in excellent condition with slight oxidation of the green in a couple of leaves. This is a large king size quilt shown on a double bed where it drops to the floor. Measurements are 99″ X 94″. Hand quilted with flowers, hearts, conforming and diagonal quilting at 9 tiny stitches to the inch. Price $1295. Stock #19459.
