Jacquard Coverlet mid 19th century. Dark blue and white with a centerfield of plumed floral medallions and offset eight-pointed stars. The borders and corner blocks have tulips, other flowers and grapefines. Size is 84″ X 72″. Found in Wooster, Ohio. All fringe in excellent condition. Price $645. Stock #19518.
WAYNE COUNTY OHIO COVERLET $525.

Wayne County Ohio coverlet. Signed and dated “J. G. Adams 1861” in corner blocks. A dark blue and white coverlet with a centerfield of rose medallions and offset sixteen-point stars. The wonderful borders consist of birds and roses and the signed corner blocks have a flower pot. Jacob Adams was born around 1831 in Pennsylvania. In 1850, the Ohio Census lists Jacob Adams as a 19-year-old weaver living in the household of Benjamin Lichty (Baughman Twp., Wayne Co., p. 302). Size is 89″ X 67″. Minor age related stains. Liberty coverlet, probably Pennsylvania c.1850. Signature block contains an eagle perched above the word “Liberty”. The bottom border has buildings and potted flowers. The side borders have floral designs. Good fringe on all three sides. Excellent condition with no soiling, holes or tears. Size is 82″ X 64″. Price $450. Stock #19445
1848 RICHLAND COUNTY OHIO $495.

Richland County, Ohio signed coverlet 1848, Wool jacquard woven coverlet with good fringe retention on three sides. The top never had fringe. Excellent condition with the occasional age related spot. No major soiling, holes or tears. The signature blocks have an eagle grasping 2 arrows. The side borders have distlefink birds with trees of life. The bottom border has floral motifs. Completely reversible with a summer and winter side. Full size 84″ X 72″. Price $495. Stock #19436
