the Window", circa 1880. Conforming and other quilting at 7
stitches to the inch. Sewn in label reads in part "HARRIET RAYDOR
HOTCHKISS WHITEHALL HAMPTON COUNTY NY BORN 1836 DIED 1923".

- Red calico and white calico "Drunkards Path", circa 1880. Diamond quilting at 6
stitches to the inch. This quilt is hand quilted but the border is machine
quilted. This pattern was introduced by the Womens Christian Temperance Union

T", circa 1880. Scallop quilting at 8 stitches to the inch.
67"x84". This pattern originates with the Womens Christian Temperance
Movement to support prohibition of alcoholic beverages. $

- Red calico and white "Chimney Sweep" or "Album Patch", circa
1930. Straight line and conforming quilting at 7 stitches to the inch. The
white inner border is a different shade of white than the white background
fabric. Queen size 80"x88". $
